Husband and I both had the crunchy tacos combination. When they say crunchy they mean crunchy, and stuffed with plenty of meat. Very good. It was a busy night with a long line at the drive thru but it went pretty quick. The woman at the service window is always very nice. Close and convenient, good food and great prices must be why it's always got a long line at the drive thru.

Quick service through a drive thru window. They also have a front and outdoor seating. Salsas are good and spicy, and they come in small cups. I had their carne asada fries and it was a decent portion. No beans, which I like, but had guac and sour cream. It's a no frills kind of place and the staff was nice when I asked for some extra salsa. A good place for some Mexican fast food

As a fellow native of San Diego, moving to LA was difficult due to one fact, and one face only: no solid taco shops with drive in's. I grew up in Chula Vista, home of Tacos El Gordo among SEVERAL solid taco shops. There's a distinct difference between the taste of carne asada marinade there and in LA. But low and behold, my cousin who lives in Covina told me about a little taco shop next to her house that was worth the 35+ min drive from my place called Alfredo's. I was skeptical but gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. It's the closest thing to the taco shops back home. There are zero drive-thru taco shops in LA, so them having that is a god send. There's hardly a line whenever we go but even if there is, it moves pretty fast because the service is fast and efficient. What I love too is that it's situated in an area my grandparents used to live, so the atmosphere is nostalgic to me. As for the food, my go-to order is always carne asada chips with sour cream and cheese only. They nail it every time. The portions are huge, and they are generous when it comes to the sour cream and cheese. They always ask how many sauces I'd like on the side which I appreciate. The workers are courteous, attentive and most importantly never get my order wrong. If you're looking for a good spot for Mexican look no further than Alfredo's.

But here's the best part: their horchata is out of this world! It's creamy, rich, and definitely not watered down. It's the perfect accompaniment to the savory goodness of the carne asada fries. If you're a fan of carne asada fries and crave a refreshing horchata that hits the spot, Alfredos is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Located in a commercial area of 2nd and San Bernardino Rd this hole in the wall is a staple in the SGV. The service is great and the drive thru wait is fast. Came in late night for the usual fish tacos and today they were better than last time. Haven't had an Asada burrito In so long and it was delish. My boyfriend had three tacos this time with his favorite red sauce and it was great. The flavor was all there today. Nice warm night to sit in the patio area, but it was close to closing time so that's for next time. The outside is always clean that's always a plus.
